Service File / 3D Scanning

From a Coin to a Stadium

No more relying on 2D photos to tell a 3D story. We capture just about anything in accurate, measurable 3D - fine enough to read 50-micron surface detail, broad enough to capture a whole building in a single pass.

The right scanner for the job

Three scanners, every scale covered

Perspective is everything. We match the scanner to your object - tiny and intricate, or huge and far away.

Artec Spider 3D scanner

Artec Spider

50-micron (0.05mm) precision for small, intricate parts. Structured light plus laser - no marker dots needed.

Artec Leo 3D scanner

Artec Leo

Portable handheld scanning, no PC required, around 0.2mm accuracy. Gets into tight spaces on site.

Artec Ray 3D scanner

Artec Ray

Long-range scanning across 300+ feet. We could capture an entire stadium in a single pass.

What it's for

When a scan beats a guess

A 3D scan gives you data you can measure, share, and build on - in court, in a meeting, in a proposal, or on the shop floor.

Scan, then make

Your scan doesn't have to stop at data

Once we've captured your object, we can clean it up for rendering, reverse engineering, or 3D printing - so a real-world thing becomes a digital file, and a digital file becomes a real-world thing again.

Questions

Frequently asked

How accurate are your scans?

It depends on the scanner we use. Our Artec Spider captures detail down to 50 microns (0.05mm) for small parts, while the Leo and Ray trade some of that precision for portability and long range.

How big - or small - can you scan?

From tiny intricate parts up to objects hundreds of feet across. We pick the scanner that fits your object.

What do I get back?

Clean 3D data ready for whatever's next - rendering, reverse engineering, inspection, or printing. Tell us the end use and we'll deliver the right format.

Can you come to the object?

Often, yes. The portable Leo lets us scan on site when the object can't come to us.
